GREFEX2 study (coordination F Collette and O Godefroy)
This study collects performance on several socio-emotional tasks and behavioral questionnaires. This study and 3 local studies will examine the mechanisms and determinants of some dysexecutive behavioral changes. Although hypoactivity with apathy is the most frequently observed dysexecutive behavioral disorder across brain diseases, its mechanisms have to be determined: the role of attention deficit and motivation are frequently suggested but remains poorly documented and the overlap with depression remains variably interpreted. These uncertainties may account for the lack of clear anatomical correlates.
GRECOGVASC study
This study (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01339195) is aimed at determining the frequency and characteristics of poststroke neurocognitive disorders assessed using the French adaptation of the harmonization standard protocols which has been performed by the GRECOGVASC group.
Several preliminary studies have been performed to improve the assessment of stroke patients and diagnosis of their condition. The assessment of disability has been refined by validating a structured interview and a modified assessment of instrumental activities of daily living, and the interpretation of cognitive scores, by validating a statistical method. The battery has been normalized and this will appear in a dedicated book (release planned end of 2016).
