Welcome to the Laboratory of Functional Neuroscience and Pathologies EA4559

Our current research concerns:

(1) the executive control of behavior and cognition in vascular and neurodegenerative cognitive disorders

(2) the functional anatomy of the brain

Three axes concerning the executive control of behavior and cognition are developped within this topic in our lab:

(1) the study of mechanisms and determinants of action slowing

(2) the investigation of interactions between executive functions and episodic memory within the framework of prospective memory

(3) the analysis of mechanisms and determinants of some dysexecutive behavioral disorders.

Key words:

Executive control functions, Attention and action speed, Vascular cognitive disorders, Functional anatomy of the brain, Evaluation of déficits in brain-damaged patients, Stroke, Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, Huntington disease, Frontotemporal degeneration, Mild and major neurocognitive disorders
